Not entirely what I expected

I’ve seen Dave’s standup. I’ve seen his shows. I knew most of his stories. But the book gave it a lot more emotion and depth. Having Dave read it was a great touch, although a couple of repeats that weren’t edited properly. I would definitely recommend it, and remain a huge fan of the man.

Glad I waited for the audio!

I preordered the print version, but decided to wait for the audio instead of reading the paper version. I listened to it straight through and went to work the next day on two hours of sleep and a lot of caffeine, but it was worth it. If he has a show anywhere near you, don't miss it!

Both Heartbreaking and Uplifting

heartfelt, tragic and incredibly funny.

This is a great book. What's even better is that it isn't super polished. Its authentic and that is a rare thing these days. Great job and I hope you write more.

Wonderful Read

This book is honest, funny, and heartfelt. I really enjoyed how descriptive it was. It made me feel like I was in it. Being from the same area and the same era it was very relatable. I would have enjoyed a bit more detail about the journey to sobriety. Maybe a sequel? 😉♥️👍🏻
