Beautiful, emotional, heavy and perfect

My heart is so happy! I'm so happy Nova received her space to be in her trauma and live through it to be in a healthy and happy space. The writing for Nova and Ollie's story is just beautiful. You can tell the emotions Vee felt while writing were heavy and healing.

I'm so sad because I know we are one story closer to the end of this series.

PS. The little snips we get from Austin as well are just like little pieces of candy - can't wait for his story next.
Updated to add that the story comes even more alive when enjoyed by audio. The Blue Nose team cast this group so well - Ollie has just the perfect tone.

Nova deserves her HEA 🖤🖤

Hey everybody, I’m looking at another audiobook review today. We are talking about book 4 in the ravens hockey series. That is your second chance this is nova and Ollie story. I will say this is gonna be a little bit of a spoiler warning so if you have not read the third book, your biggest downfall, then there are spoilers ahead because this book picks up right after your biggest downfall with nova. So I was absolutely in love with Ollie throughout this story. I thought he was the perfect type of character to come in and try to help pick up the broken pieces of nova because of everything that happened between nova and Austin in your biggest downfall obviously she is afraid of getting hurt again because of everything Austin did through our relationship so she tries to push Ollie away but he’s completely infatuated with her so he continuously tries to make her see that he’s generally a good person and generally wants to be with her. Nova throughout all of this is very skeptical about getting with Ollie because it is a workplace relationship and she doesn’t want the same thing that happened between her and Austin to happen between her and Ollie because if you remember her and Austin were also a workplace relationship. So she is very much on the defensive for a good majority of the book. I will say I think about the time that she meets all his parents is when she starts to open more up to the idea of potentially being in a relationship with Ollie and being with him. This book is narrated and duet by the amazing voices of James Cassidy, He portrays Ollie and Ramona Masters comes back to portray nova. They both do such an amazing job narrating this book. I have talked previously about Ramona and how I thought she did an amazing job betraying nova and she brings at the same type of energy back into this book, then James Cassidy is just an amazing narrator in everything that he does. I absolutely love getting to listen to his voice, he brings the same type of energy to every book and he just always knocks it out of the park because of that!

Nova and Ollie's story

Wow! Vee Taylor does it again! Every book I have read from her is a 5 star. This story broke my heart and put it back together again. I honestly did not want to read book 4. After finishing book 3 and being completely devastated by Nova and Austins heartbreak (not HEA). I thought there was no way Vee Taylor could redeem their story. But of she did and almost immediately hearing James Cassidy as Oliver Stone, I was sold. His voice was delicious! I could listen to his accent all day.
Romona Masters as Nova was also truly amazing. She has a way of expressing Nova, in a way that really invited us into her struggles and heartbreak. Another 5 star for the story and 5 star for the narrators!

I’m obsessed with these two!
James Cassidy && Ramona Master did so good at bringing these two to life!!

After Novas divorce, she moves across the pond to become the social media manager for a professional lacrosse team. On the way over, she finds out she is pregnant with her exs child.
On the run from her own life, this was not at all what she is planning for. But now she is determined to be the best single mom, with her best friend helping!

Ollie is the assistant coach for the professional lacrosse team. When he first meets Nova, he assumes she is hungover because she is puking in the bathroom.
But after getting her home, he feels instant attraction to her! And he wants to know more!

I love Ollie persistence and patience in his love for Nova.
The two of them are perfect together and i love their love story!
I love that it is a slow burn and that even when you think they’re getting their HEA, there is always more!

I loved this book.
I loved this audio even more!

Filthy Mouth Must Have

Ok so I was lucky enough to get an ALC from Blue Nose Audio and let me tell you… Audio is the way to go! Ramona Master is back as Nova (which she brings to life perfectly)! I don’t think there’s anything James Cassidy can’t narrate. British James may honestly be my favorite.

This was such a great ending to Nova’s story line which set up books 5 & 6 perfectly. I really hope we get those in audio as well because I NEED to hear how this series gets wrapped up. Plus, filthy mouthed men are meant to be HEARD. 🤣
