A spicy Small Town, Single Mom, Forbidden romance from USA Today bestselling author Willow Aster

Waking up in a gorgeous man’s lap definitely wasn’t on this year’s bingo card, that’s for sure.

Flying halfway across the country, exhausted and on an empty stomach, is a lot. Having to do all that while realizing I’ll be away from my little girl while she’s at her dad’s is an even worse feeling.

Enter Dylan. The irresistibly gorgeous man whose lap I collapsed in on my flight home. He is handsome, charming, and manages to sweet-talk me right into bed with his beautiful smile and twinkling hazel eyes. This is sooo unlike me, but I couldn’t help myself.

Dylan and I don’t really know each other. Plus, I live in Minnesota, and he lives in California, and anything long-term would never work. Yet the chemistry between us can’t be denied.

But then the real problem between us comes to light, and it’s a big one. A forbidden one. There’s no way we can ever be together…but how do we give up on each other when our fiery connection feels like a once-in-a-lifetime love?

All for Love is book three in the interconnected, standalone Windy Harbor series.

All For Love is book three in the Windy Harbor Series by Willow Aster. While this is a part of an interconnected series it does stand alone. The author does an excellent job at explaining the back story, however, I would recommend reading the previous books in the series. Not only are they great but there is some juicy family gossip that you’ll want the full story of!

Dylan is a sweet Minnesotan surfer dude. He’s easy to laugh, easy to love, easy on the eyes. Dahlia is a single mom that has a lot of drama surrounding her. Their relationship is so sweet and worth every moment of angst. I especially loved the moments with Dylan and her daughter Chloe! I'm not gonna say more because I don't want to spoil anything!

I throughly enjoyed this story and the audio made it even better. Isabelle Ruther and Austin Stone did a great job at portraying these characters and their emotions.

All For Love is book 3 in the Windy Harbor series. Dahlia and Dylan met when she fainted on a plane, landing in Dylan’s lap 🤭! The chemistry was really good, and both were immediately attracted to each other. Dylan is a green flag cinnamon roll hero. Dahlia fell for Dylan just as quickly, but they had to sneak around because of her father. There was a little OM drama with Dahila’s ex, but it was all on the ex’s side. I like the romance, but it felt really fast. I liked Dahila’s daughter, who was super cute. I liked Dylan’s relationship with her daughter. One thing that did bother me was Dylan laughing a lot. Like he was always laughing about something except the few times things got serious or when they were really in the heat of their spicy times (a lot of spice), but yeah…he kept laughing. The audiobook was fun. I like Isabelle Ruther and Austin Stone’s narration.

Attention, there is a new Whitman in town, and he is one of my favorites! Willow Aster welcomes you back to Windy Harbor for another fabulous novel, a steamy single mom, forbidden, think Romeo & Juliet, romance that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. Dylan Whitman opened his own surf shop in California, but it is time for him to Windy Harbor to help with the family business. Traveling back and forth until he settled things with his business in California, a woman captured his eye at the airport, but being transient, he did not pursue her and doubted he’d see her again, but fate had other plans. Dahlia Granger, a single mom to a delightful little girl, Chloe, shares custody with her ex, her daughter’s father, who recently moved to California to pursue an acting career. She passes out on the return flight home to Minnesota and lands on a dreamy and kind guy’s lap, Dylan. Dahlia had not been interested in men since her ex, but there was something about Dylan that appealed to her, and the feeling was mutual. From the beginning, there was a sizzling chemistry between them, with Dylan’s charming flirtatiousness being irresistible, compounded by his genuine niceness. They were in deep quickly, not knowing their last names, but when they do, they realize their predicament, and it is not good, since their families go way back, feuding families, and her father still holds a grudge. Their relationship is so much more that a past family dispute, and they will not let it play a part in their relationship, but her controlling and demanding father does not get that memo. Once again, Willow Aster created a multi-layered story with complex characters, and I loved how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, angst, charming and heartwarming moments, hilarious family group messages, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. As always, the writing, plot, and world-building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. It was great to see the other members of the Mitchell family again, too. Willow Aster, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Isabelle Ruther and Austin Stone, a perfect pairing and casting, did an amazing job bringing these characters to life, giving each a voice that was fitting for a spot-on portrayal of each. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Ruther nailed it as Dahlia, embodying the role completely, as Chloe too, and Stone did the same in Dylan’s role and was just as fabulous. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the side/secondary characters. Their expressive performance conveys all the characters’ emotions, making you feel each one. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers, and their enthralling performance rivets you to the story.

Another beautifully written and narrated book in the Windy Harbor series. The narrators performance is perfection! They really brought Dylan and Dahlia to life for me as well as all the other characters. My gosh, this book grabbed my attention from the first chapter and didn't let go till the end. Talk about a crazy first meet that kicks of a rollercoaster of events. Dahlia and Dylan are drawn to each other from the moment their eyes connect. Dylan knows she is the one and proves himself in every action including meeting Dahlias daughter. I just love how he dotes on her. This book is full of steam, family secrets and drama, and lots of emotional depth that pulls at the heart strings. I definitely needed a tissue or two. I truly enjoyed every moment of their story and can't wait to get my hands on the next book. I have truly fallen in love with Windy Harbor, the Whitman family and all the other wonderful characters. Beyond a 5 star must read or listen.

This one hooked me immediately!!! Such a cute, meet-cute setup that I couldn’t put down.

Dahlia and Dylan meet on a flight from LA to Minnesota when Dahlia literally passes out on him from low blood sugar (talk about memorable first impressions). What could’ve been mortifying turns sweet fast. Dylan is completely smitten because he already noticed her at the airport and thought she was stunning.

Dahlia is a single mom based in Minnesota, traveling back to LA to co-parent, while Dylan is in the middle of a big life shift. He’s leaving behind his successful Malibu surf shop to move home and be with family as his dad’s health declines. I loved how naturally their connection developed despite the distance. The back-and-forth flights, secret Airbnbs, and constant communication made their relationship feel both exciting and intentional.

But of course… it doesn’t stay simple. Just as things start getting serious, they discover their families are basically enemies. Well, mostly on Dahlia’s side, thanks to her toxic, grudge-holding father. That tension adds a really satisfying layer of angst. I appreciated how, even with all the secrets and pressure, Dahlia and Dylan stayed solid and chose each other again and again.

Overall, this had the perfect mix of swoony moments and emotional drama. The chemistry was strong, the conflict felt meaningful, and I was fully invested in their fight to make it work.
