It’s great to see sapphic novels enter this genre. I only wish that the chosen narrator could have matched this caliber of storytelling.

This audiobook is absolutely wonderful

I read this first book last year, and I fell in love with it, not only for its masterfully crafted characters but also for the excellent storytelling, which kept me interested from start to finish. Now, listening to the story again via this audiobook has rekindled that fire I felt while reading, as if I were starting it for the first time. I loved the narrator's performance and the way she gave voice to the characters; I think she perfectly captured their essence as I imagined it while reading the book, bringing them to life in a continuous crescendo of emotions. I also want to mention the fact that the characters are of different nationalities, and she captured each accent masterfully. Absolutely phenomenal!

I really enjoyed this book, it moved at a moderate-fast pace and throws enough twists and turns where it’s hard to find a good place to pause for the night.
Narration was excellent! I can’t wait for the second audiobook to come out!

I first read Her Spell That Binds Me back in 2024 and I swear this book has just been living in my brain rent free ever since. I loved so much about this book - the academia setting, the rivalry between the witches, and the magic were all so entertaining. But what really got me was the story. I absolutely loved the characters Iona and Ariadne, and their journey both as a couple and individuals made for such an intense read. The author did an incredible job immersing you in their world.

When the audiobook dropped I didn’t even hesitate to preorder it. I needed an excuse to be back with these characters before jumping into the sequel. And oh my gosh…my mind is officially blown. The narrator was so insanely good. The accents, the emotion, the intensity, everything about it was perfect storytelling. I already loved this story, but hearing it brought to life like that was a whole different experience. Anyway yeah…still obsessed. Still thinking about it. And now I’m even more in love heading into book two 🙃
