Okay, look, being a seventeen-year-old child genius working my way through Harvard was supposed to be the hardest part of my life.

I'm Marie—smart mouth, zero impulse control, laser-focused on one goal: getting custody of my baby brother to keep him out of foster care. Oh, and building an Iron Man suit and eventually taking over the world. One thing at a time, though.

But when a gorgeous older man at a museum tempts me with a combination of mansplaining and faulty math, I find myself tied up in the basement of an abandoned dental school. Standard serial killer, right?

Not quite. Turns out, he was a vampire. And he's turned me into a bloodsucker on the way out.

Bye-bye, Harvard. Hello, tiny, creepy night college in Eternity, Louisiana. I've got a place in a dorm room at Noctiluna House because, get this, the previous occupant was brutally murdered in what is now my room.

Common sense would dictate that I should try to find her killer, just in case they come for me and try to carve my heart out like they did to her. So, I'm on the case, and it should be easy. After all, I'm something of an expert on serial killers.

But I'm about to discover that interviewing suspects can be tricky when all you can think about is chewing on their neck.

A Little Bite is book one in the Eternity College Chronicles, a fun new supernatural comedy and urban fantasy series that's a little bit Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a little bit Wednesday, and a whole lot of Big Bang Theory.

this book had me consuming it voraciously. it was so funny, and so well put together. I loved a listening to the female main character's thoughts and innermost feelings. I was cackling so loud people were looking at me. I'm sure through most of the book I had a very devious smile on my face. worth the credit.

I loved the morbid sense of humor

I absolutely loved this book! It hooked me right away and I love that the FMC is morally gray, but not in a dark, depressed way!
Marie is intelligent, brave, and makes the best vampire ever!
I was even stumped til the end on the mystery as well.

Narration was excellent, with animated inflection and it really made a difference with all the voices. I feel like she captured Marie's spirit perfectly!

Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Hilarious FMC & Fantastic Narration

“You look like a colorblind Adam Sandler.” This was my first impression of the book!

This book was absolutely hilarious! I honestly didn’t know what to expect going in, but it definitely wasn’t a strong, intellectual, outspoken female lead who always has to know everything. And not her calling me out with, “If you love purple that much, you’re a serial killer.” Excuse me? I’m not a serial killer… but I do love purple, LOL.

The FMC has absolutely zero impulse control paired with a chaotic “can do” attitude that constantly lands her in trouble, which made her so entertaining to follow. And that angel on her shoulder? I need a full backstory immediately because she was such a fun addition.

This book is packed with adventure, lovable characters, and an FMC you immediately want to continue reading about. I’m already jumping straight into book two! Such a fun and exciting start to my summer reading.

So much fun and hilarious
