Fun Read, Abrupt Beginning

This was a fun read, fast paced, kept me engaged. I do wish the beginning wasn’t so abrupt though. We don’t know what is going or yet or who any of the characters are and by chapter 3 the fmc is kissing someone already. I did get to really like the characters as we went along, and the plot is getting good. LOVED the inclusion of Hekate in this!!!

But I have questions…

Thoroughly enjoyed but not once was there a council member to confirm what Logan was telling Jade about how they would be experimented on and that he was protecting her. Her fear was based on what he said. Also, why did an assassin kill his parents? I’m not convinced Logan is innocent.

The story

The story was really good . I will say I hate how like not only she could use what made her special and then she couldn't even have a friend to talk about it with . So I'm hoping that who she finally feel
For is not the darkness they say is coming. But I definitely need book two. There is so much that still hasn't been told. But good book and good reader.

I can’t wait for the next book in this series… I kept listening to find out what was coming next!!
