From USA Today Bestselling Author Brynne Asher comes a small-town, woman-on-the-run, age-gap romance. Oh yeah, there’s a jewelry heist too.

I’d like to say my story began when I almost accidentally killed Jett Parker Cross, but it started long before that.

I wish I could kick this spectacle off with a “not to be dramatic” but it was. After all, Jett just had major surgery. The kind that includes a brand new, life-saving organ.

Say less.

Horrifying. Mortifying. And dramatic.

It doesn’t matter how beautiful his soulful dark eyes are, or that I have to restrain myself from touching his thick, wavy hair. When he laid his hands on me to defend himself, I liked it more than I should have.

It seems almost getting killed brings out the broody grump in Jett, even if he did face death on the regular as an Army Special Forces badass.

I’m officially obsessed.

But Jett has bigger issues. He’s the newest board member for Stonebridge Capital, and some don’t want him there. The last thing he has time for is me.

Or so it seems.

That changes when I receive a message from the life I left behind.

The life I escaped.

I’ve been found, and they want me back. What they really want are the rare jewels I took. Since they were already stolen, I like to think I’m righting wrongs and saving myself in the process.

Jett is determined to protect me. But between his family, my secrets, and him teaching me everything between the sheets, we can’t figure out which way is up.

The stakes are high.

Life and death ... with an emphasis on the death part.

In the end, we want one thing, and it’s more precious than a trust fund or jewels…Each other.

I first picked up Crimson Love when it launched on Kindle, but then pressed pause as soon as Brynne Asher announced the audiobook version was on the way—and honestly, I’m so glad I waited. Emma Wilder and JF Harding absolutely crushed it with their narration.

This story serves up a thrilling blend of high-stakes romantic suspense, layered with raw emotion and sizzling chemistry. From the very first moment Lennon bumped into Jett, I was totally hooked. Their banter? Sharp and hilarious. The twists? Kept me on my toes the whole time. And the chemistry? Oh, it was off the charts—Jett’s intense, “down bad” vibe made him utterly irresistible. Who can resist an MMC with that kind of ache?

I’ve completely fallen for this series and can’t wait to head back to the Manor to dive into Payne’s story next!

Crimson Love is book 2 in this series. I was so excited Jett and Lennon were the main characters. Lennon has a mystery about her because of her past. Jett is learning where he fits after his recovery. These two are perfect for each other. When chaos from the past shows up and other things are happening they stick together. I love getting to see characters from other books. I also love the banter of the characters in the sweet small town of Winsor. This book is written beautifully and I can't wait to read it again.

The narrators were perfect for Jett and Lennon's characters. I've listened to Emma Wilder and JF Harding narrate many other books. Having read the ebook first, I was really able to focus on the narrators bringing this book to life. I was drawn in even more!

Holy cow this was a roller coaster! The book took off right from the start and had me hooked. So much happened and I loved all the twists.

I rooted for Jett and Lennon from the beginning and melted into a puddle at the epilogue.

I loved getting more of the side characters. They were quirky and fun. I live in a small town and could totally relate to how everyone is in everybody else’s business.

The narrators were so good! They brought Jett and Lennon to life!

I wish Winslet Manor was real because sign me up! I’m looking forward to more in this series.

Crimson Love stayed with me long after I turned the final page. Lennon and Jett’s heartbreaking pasts, and the danger, intrigue, and betrayals they face, kept me completely absorbed in their journey. From their accidental, nearly fatal first meeting to the emotional and spine-tingling path that follows, this story is tender and intense, making it impossible to put down.

I love how Brynne Asher introduces Lennon and Jett with the perfect blend of emotional intensity, tension, and just a touch of humor, making their connection feel immediate and genuine. Their lighter moments create a beautiful contrast to the danger and malicious intent unfolding around them, giving them room to heal, grow, and mature as they fall in love. Set against the elegant backdrop of the Manor at Winslet, Crimson Lovebalances suspense with heartfelt romance; it is gripping, emotional, and impossible to forget.

Emma Wilder and J. F. Harding were perfectly cast as Lennon and Jett. Harding’s voice had a rich, relaxed quality, with just a hint of a smirk, which set the exact right tone as Jett opened himself up to new life and love. Emma Wilder, as always, delivered a standout performance. She brings just the right balance of energy and spunk to her characters, making Lennon feel vibrant and real.
