raw but has potential

the story itself needs some better pacing and the reveal at the end seemed a bit cheap but it was otherwise not bad. the narrator helped bring the characters to life and make them more likeable.

Enthralling Read, Enhanced by Fantastic Performance!

A truly great read that had me glued to the edge of my seat. Lots of twists and turns with interesting characters. All enhanced by the incredible performance of the narrator. They really brought the characters to life for me. Definitely recommend the listen!

Jaw drop!! This story is amazing!
Velvet lives in a world full of horror and despair. She’s someone’s property for them to do as they please. She feels there’s no way out of this hell until she meets Tobias. Will this be her way out or is she moving from one hell to another?
Velvet is stronger than she thinks she is!

This story is raw, gritty, emotional, and I didn’t move for the entire book! It’s so well written and developed.

Vivian Vandam is a must read author for me and once again, I’m floored at how fantastic her story is!!

I was lucky to listen to the audio version and the narrator did an excellent job! I loved listening to this story!!

*It’s out now and I highly recommend reading or listening to it!!*

Better to Read

I think this would have been a much in book form. There was a great story line to would have kept me interested the entire time. However, the narrator, IMO, didn’t do this book justice. Wish I would’ve read it instead.

The Narrator

I did not like the way they never read the book, it sounded like she was flat and wasn't surprised about a lot of stuff, overall the storyline what happened to Violet and what happened to her little sister was very surprising, I loved the book, can't wait for book 2
