It’s one hundred degrees in the shade, and Lucas is the only HVAC tech stupid enough to take the call.

The client? Greyson, a reclusive billionaire with a penthouse fortress and a broken thermostat.

The problem? Greyson isn’t just sweating; he’s in pre-rut.

Lucas is just there to fix the vents. He’s not there to listen to the deep, guttural growls coming from the locked master bedroom, or to wonder why the air is thick with the scent of cedar and pure, aggressive need.

Greyson tries to be noble. He warns the cute, chatty repairman to leave. But when the building’s security system triggers a lockdown, trapping them both inside, noble goes out the window.

Lucas fixes the AC, but it doesn't matter. The temperature is rising, the Alpha is out of patience, and Greyson is about to show Lucas that there’s only one way to work off this kind of heat.

I enjoyed the chemistry and banter between both main characters. They both seemed to fit like pieces of a puzzle.
