The wedding we have been waiting for!

Double Grudge Donuts is the 8th book in the wonderful Deputy Donut Mystery series by Ginger Bolton and it is the one we've been waiting for! Emily Westhill co-owns Deputy Donut Cafe with Tom. She is engaged to Detective Brent Fyne and the wedding takes place in this book! Emily's parents are staying with her to help with final wedding preparations and to judge events for the Fallingbrook Arts Festival. There is a bagpipe player causing problems during the festival and when he ends ups dead, there are no shortage of suspects. They need to solve the case before the wedding! There is a new Detective in town to help Brent with the case. I like Emily and Brent's friends, coworkers, and Emily's parents. The story starts out a little slow but once they start looking into the mystery, it takes an interesting turn and I was engaged for the remainder of the book. The wedding is the finale and it is worth the wait! This is one of my favorite cozy mystery series and they continue to be awesome!
