By far the best book of 2026!

I was hooked from the very first chapter of this book. You have captured every detail that perfectly mixes, love suspense, and action.

Don’t know who this new female narrator is, but she definitely knew that she was going up against her heavy hitters. I believe in giving everyone a chance, but a narrator with Tourette is crazy. She is horrible. I have to skip every time Dianna part comes on

This was A TIME!!!

I had to wait for the audio to come out to do a read along because it was a long book and I would have gotten distracted lol.

It was worth the wait for sure! Two sisters with two stories involved with two men in the same field. All 4 were frustrating me but at least Smoke and Dayanna got themselves together. Now Demon and Dream?! I wanted to ring their necks a few times. Just say words to each other. Dang! I know it started as an arrangement but they knew something was sparking when they first met.

Another thing, why they all had at least one parent who was TRASH!!! I fussed so much at Dream and Yanna's Dad. Such a shame how his views were for more power. Demon's mom and what she did to him when he was 13 made me cry. Smoke's dad gets a pass. He got it right at the end.

Now the ending of that second epiloge?!!! I knew that was going to circle back.

It was a good time and it was worth the 3 days it took me to read it.

The narrators did their thing. This book needed 4 and other than getting used to Jacqi's style of narrating, all was well. Everyone was perfect for their role.

Amazing story

I absolutely loved this book! I’m crossing my fingers for a part 2. The second sister voice takes a little to get used to but it’s not bad.

I loved the book, hope there is a part 2. Written very well, story was extremely captivating… with lots of twist and turns.
