From early on, I wanted to know what really happened. The clues were there but not obvious, which I liked. Irene’s determination stood out a lot for me. Then Sherlock coming in gave it that extra push. I stayed interested all the way through without losing focus.

Kept me curious

I started this audiobook during a long evening and honestly thought I’d pause halfway, but nope, I kept going. The pacing really pulled me in, and I liked how the mystery slowly unfolded without giving too much away. The narrator did a solid job bringing everything to life, made it easy to stay hooked. I even got a bit suspicious of everyone at some point lol. It felt immersive and kept my mind busy. Definitely worth the listen.

Couldn't stop listening even when i tried

I picked this up just to read a few pages and ended up going way further than I planned. The mystery pulled me in slowly but once it got going, I couldn’t stop. I liked how things weren’t too obvious and I actually had to think a bit. The personal conflicts made it feel more real too. Some parts felt slightly rushed, but overall it still landed well for me. I’d read more like this for sure.

I put this on while doing chores and found myself paying way more attention than I planned. The narrator did a good job with the different voices, it didn’t feel confusing at all. Irene’s role stood out for me, she felt strong and active. I enjoyed the experience and would listen again.

Easy to listen, Hard to pause

I expected just a basic investigation story, but it had more going on than that. The friendships and tension added something extra that kept me interested. I found myself getting a bit frustrated at certain moments, but in a good way lol. It made me want to keep reading to see how things played out. Not perfect, but definitely engaging enough to finish in one sitting.

More than just a simple mystery
