Behind closed doors, nothing is as it seems…

I stare at the photograph. It was taken on an ordinary day at the park. The four of us look so happy–our smiles wide and cheeks rosy. But just a month after this image was taken, I lost everything.

I’m watching them now, walking in the park together: my handsome husband, my beautiful daughter and my adorable son. They’re with her. She’s playing happy families with my loved ones. She stole them from me.

She thinks she’s got rid of me. But I’m going to get my family back. And I’m going to get revenge…

The Happy Family is an utterly gripping and completely addictive psychological thriller full of incredible twists by number one bestselling author Daniel Hurst. Perfect for fans of T.M. Logan, John Marrs and Freida McFadden.

This series was addicting but I do feel like it was a money grab to release it in 3 books. Much of the 2nd and 3rd book is reminding you of what has happened previously and it did start to drag out a little. It felt like Luna was invincible and then the ending was a bit anticlimactic, I wish she would have had to face what she had done and felt what it was like to lose her family back to Sadie rather than the easy way out. Ending felt a bit rushed after all of the build up but I did still enjoy reading the series and flew through all 3 books.

Could have been one book *spoilers

I love how Daniel gets to the nitty gritty with his writing and pulls you in immediately. I’ve read the entire series and was sad when it ended.

Fast paced

Luna is my new favorite bad guy to hate! I don't remember the last time I had such a visceral reaction to a criminal in my entire life. Good job to Daniel Hurst who wrote this in such a realistic way that not only could I relate to Sadie and root for her. But my head was spinning with ways that I would viciously take back my family without caring what happened to Luna in the end.

I hate Luna...

I finished all three books in a matter of five days. I haven’t read a series this good since housemaid by Freda McFadden. Absolutely loved

Couldn’t stop listening to!!!

Great series.

This is the final book in "The Hunt Family" series and listening Book #1 and #2 before listening to this book is highly recommended.

"I Want Your Family" (Book #1 )was the best in the series..

Highly eye-rolling, pacey, unpredictable, unputdownable, and very entertaining.

When Daniel Hurst is good he is very, very good.

Full cast-narrations are always a treat and all narrators gave outstanding performances.

Very Happy with "The Happy Family".
