💭𝗔𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗻 and Sullivan instantly connect at a cabin during a storm, sparking a deep love between them. They are a perfect match, but sooner rather than later reality is calling them back.
𝗜 always fall in love with Melanie Moreland's books. She effortlessly captures chemistry in her stories. The natural development of Autumn and Sullivan's relationship was a highlight for me. While the plot moved quickly, the romance was not rushed, and the added touch of suspense was just perfect.
The dual narration by John Lane and Maxine Mitchell is always a treat. They truly are a dream team. If you're looking for your new Scottish book boyfriend, you have to meet Sully!

Sully and Autumn come from two very different worlds and that’s putting it mildly. Autumn is in Edinburg on a work trip and needed a weekend to just relax so her friend sends her to what she thinks will be an unoccupied cottage in a little village. But Sully has the same plans and when these two meet, while it’s a little awkward to begin with, by the end of the weekend everything has changed and for all the right reasons.
Sully is a man that gets what he wants and he never in his life expected love or to be so attracted to a woman that by the end of their couple of days together, he wants Autumn to be his forever. Their chemistry is enough to melt the massive amount of snow that fell while they were keeping each other warm inside. Autumn doesn’t know what to think, but she knows that Sully could be her forever. There’re just a few obstacles in their way, specifically Autumn lives in Toronto and Sully in Edinburg. One thing is for sure, Sully will do whatever it takes to get Autumn to make Edinburg her home too.
Along the way to their all-consuming love and passion for each other, there’s two worlds that collide, a man from Autumn’s past that just doesn’t want to let go, a family emergency and reconciling what everything means to get to their HEA.
John Lane and Maxine Mitchell brought every line and scene to life so magnificently. I was captivated from beginning to end. Their accents were spot on. I could feel the love, passion, fear and friendship coming through loud and clear. The listening experience expanded my love for this book. I also loved getting to be back in the Irishmen world. We met the inhabitants of this world in Niall and Finn’s books.
My heart is so happy right now having listened to another amazing book by Ms. Moreland. I’m definitely going to be listening to this book again.

Sullivan heads to his Scotland cottage for a quiet weekend getaway… except it’s not so quiet. Lights are on, smoke’s coming from the chimney and when he walks in, there’s a woman already there… who promptly passes out the second she sees him.
Enter Autumn.
She works with Sullivan’s cousin, who offers her the cottage for a much-needed escape, assuming Sullivan won’t be there. Fresh off the train in Edinburgh, Autumn is completely swept away by the charm—the cozy town, the shops, the peaceful vibe. It feels like exactly what she needs. Until Sullivan walks through the door.
Terrified he might be someone from her past, she faints but once everything is cleared up, the connection between them is instant. The chemistry and the comfort are Immediate. The way they feel like home to each other? Ugh, SO good. It’s giving full-on soulmates energy.
They spend an extended, steamy winter weekend together and even make plans to continue things but reality hits. Autumn’s Canadian, so staying means dealing with visa issues… and then life throws another curveball when her aunt (who’s basically her mom) gets hurt, forcing her back home.
And from there? The angst kicks in.
The intense “touch her and die” energy from the MMC, mixed with swoony romance and emotional tension was soooo good!! READ THIS.

Autumn and Sullivan meet by chance when they end up in the same cabin together during a snowstorm...and even though it may have been cold outside, the sparks were definitely flying inside. These two have just that instant chemistry and connection, so the feelings that developed quickly just felt so natural and not forced. And the nickname Sullivan had for Autumn...swoon. Probably my favorite of the series. Of course there is going to be some danger and suspense in the mix, and I couldn't wait to see how our hero (and the rest of the Irishmen) saved the day.
Sullivan is once again narrated by John Lane and Maxine Mitchell, who do a stellar job bringing these characters to life. They do the accents beautifully, and both put all the emotions into these characters, and I truly could listen to them both all day.
Highly recommend this one! And if you haven't read Finn or Niall yet...definitely get those ones on your TBR!!
Stellar narration and fantastic story!
