A bit too much

I have listened to every book written by Annie and have loved them all. The story line in this one is great but unlike her other books this one focuses way too much on sex. Every other chapter has her with one or more sexual partners.

Don't get me wrong I like spicy romance novels when I am expecting them but every other book by this author has focused on the story more than the spice. Not this one though. If you are expecting a story like the rest of Annie's books this is not it. This one brings a pretty great story with lots of sex and a really whiny heroine.

Why is it that the FMC always have to be so whiny and insecure in these stories?

Spicy Dragon Shifters

This spicy dragon shifter omnibus was an absolute treat for my ears. The narrators understood the assignment and brought Vale, Kian, Xavier, and Idris to life in a way that kept me fully locked in from start to finish.
The character dynamics were easily my favorite part. Each of the guys brought something different to the table, and the banter, humor, and chemistry kept things entertaining the entire time. There was never a dull moment.
The story flowed really well across all three books, and listening to the omnibus meant I didn't have to suffer through cliffhangers while desperately waiting for the next installment. A true gift to my impatient soul.
If you like dragon shifters, magic, found family vibes, and romance with plenty of heat, this one is worth checking out. And best of all? The ending wraps everything up beautifully, so I got to finish the journey feeling satisfied instead of staring into the void demanding answers.
Final verdict: dragons ✔️ magic ✔️ banter ✔️ spice ✔️ my sanity preserved by having all three books in one audio

The Spice was Delicious

This book was so delicious and spicy. I loved the setting the magical system why choose faded mates. It felt very unique and I loved that so much. This author knows how to write a witty sarcastic FMC that is also a bad ass. I love the Omnibus audio and it was so nice having all three books together. The narrators went so well with the characters and the female narrator did a really good job with the male voices.
