Loved it!

This one has it all! Thrill, chills and it is action packed! I really liked Rain from her job to her attitude and thought process! Matteo is an interesting character with a internal helper. I have not read any in this series previously to this one. I was able to follow along well and really enjoyed the Zacharra brothers! I listened to this on audio and the narrators do an excellent job!

Matteo is a story of a dark internal awakening. A powerful force has taken root inside Matteo, one that defies human law and pursues its desires without hesitation. And the one thing it desires most is Rain. I really enjoyed the gritty atmosphere of this book and the chemistry between the leads. I’m definitely waiting for Carmine’s story next!

Charlie L. Wood’s performance as Rain is nuanced and heartfelt, providing the perfect balance to the story. Lucas Troy is commanding as Matteo, perfectly portraying the "awakening" of the powerful force within him. Both narrators did an incredible job bringing this dark romance to life.

Storyline was interesting but underdeveloped along with the characters 🤔 you must have read the other books to understand Matteo and his family
