A hidden forgery unites a bluestocking and a guarded viscount—will truth lead them to love?

With a keen interest in art, Miss Eugenia Sherwood has been forced to keep her knowledge a secret for fear of embarrassing herself and her family by being known as a bluestocking. When a quiet conversation with the Viscount of Suffolk leads to a shocking discovery, Eugenia has no choice but to reveal her true self. With the other bluestockings beside her, she offers her aid to Lord Suffolk, only for him to turn her away.

Nicholas is mortified when a mere debutante shows him that one of his paintings is not the genuine piece he believed it to be. Afraid that his reputation will be tainted, he turns his back on her offer of help, only to realize that he needs her knowledge and keen eye. Will Eugenia be willing to come alongside him again? And will their closeness lead to something neither of them ever anticipated?

The story line was actually engaging & followed it to the end. It’s an era where what is proper among unmarried females is highly restricted in engaging among any eligible male that is unrelated. Also, any female interested in education beyond running a household is frowned upon. These women are known as BlueStockings. It is these women that are more clever than the man or men in solving mysteries and crimes. The story has a happy ending. After listening to 3 of these stories, I’m done. Very glad to live in a different time and country.
