I have always wanted to read the classics but never had the time, so this audiobook was the perfect solution for my busy schedule. The logic used by René Descartes is fascinating to hear, especially when you compare it to the calm reflections of Marcus Aurelius. It is a very high-quality collection that makes learning about history and ethics feel like a fun hobby instead of hard work.

It is pretty amazing to have all these famous works in one single audiobook so you don't have to go looking for them individually. I liked that the book covers a wide range of topics like how to be brave, how to make good choices, and how to understand our own minds. Some of the parts are a bit more serious than others, but they all give you something good to chew on. The flow of the message is smooth, and it feels like a very complete look at the best ideas humans have ever had. Truly worth the time.
