Great story about a soldier and his son’s widow coming to terms with war

Really liked this book back when I first read it. Narrators are great… Sometimes sounds a little short of breath but overall great listen and very entertaining.

A classic

I remember this book from back in the 90's. the clan invasion had ended in the truce of tukkayid and here is where the fallout of that started. a great classic, and the performance was much better than has been done on the newer books. highly recommend

Great book . Brings back memories

A wonderful performance of the first Battletech book I picked up as a child. Wonderful story great set up for the universe. If you’re looking to get into Battletech, this will be the book. This audio performance was great.

Good to see the series getting updates for audio books

Great listen for mech heads, they need to do more of these quicker. The legends series is great.
