Nearly a year after their deadly honeymoon at the Blue Elk Campground, Brie and Steven Greene are finally trying to start over.

New marriage. New life. Baby on the way.

But four years ago, Brie survived a violent attack she’s never truly escaped.

Now, in the safety of her own home, old fear is turning into something far more dangerous. A missing key. Objects moved. The sickening sense that someone has been inside her apartment.

Steven thinks Brie’s pushing herself too hard.
Brie thinks she might be losing her mind.

But she knows the only way out is to face the nightmare she thought she left behind.

It turns out someone hasn't forgotten her.
And this time, she isn’t the only one in danger.

The Empty Hallway by Natasha Stone is a great 2nd book in the “empty” series. Book number 3 will be coming out May 2026. I am hoping it keeps on going after this one left off. This one is a continuation of The Empty Tent and starts a year after the honeymoon.
A little short of 7 hours and 40 chapters just like book number one. Virtual voice is used for the audiobook as well and in my opinion takes away from the book.
I will be reading the 3rd book for sure to see how it all ends. Thank you for the ARC.

Good follow up in the series
