Comedy

Imperfectly Perfect by Eddie Twice is an excellent romantic comedy. Augusta Hydleman and Sebastian Martello did an incredible job with the narration. The story is entertaining, comedic, romantic, witty, heartfelt, slow burn, cute, enjoyable, and more.

Good story

I enjoyed listening to this heartfelt romance about second chances and finding new love. Alison and Kit were meant to cross paths. After Kit lost his wife he thought that was the end of his love story. It was such a great story and the narrators did a great job voicing these characters.

Wonderful story.

This is a great love story and I love the art discussed throughout the book. I could really feel the connection between these two characters and their friends and families. I definitely recommend listening to this book especially if you enjoy heartfelt love stories that grab you from the start.

Picture Perfect

Imperfectly Perfect by Eddy Twice is a cute age gap, workplace romcom.

*Spoilers Ahead*

Despite some of the heavier subjects, I felt the story was lighthearted overall. They meet at an art museum in Paris, she rear-ends him back home not long after, and then he turns out to be her new boss. This adds to the tension since she thought she should have gotten the job.

Their relationship did seem to grow naturally through their forced proximity at work, but I did feel the whole thing was a bit rushed. Not forced, but like there were scenes cut from the story that we didn't get to see. Some chapters felt like time jumps we did not get an explanation for. There were also flashbacks at the beginning that did not seem to add anything to the story and made following it a bit difficult. I think the progression of the relationship could have been fleshed out a lot more than it was and some side action cut from the story without any loss. Overall though, I did like the story.

I listened to this on audiobook and felt both narrators did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life.

I really liked this story

Cute-sie romance story. Bonus the narrators have the accents that fit the story Delivery. The beginning is seriously a series of unfortunate events but they're funny. Total recommend from me. I binged this instead of sleeping so that should tell you it's good.
