Jackson Paul, formerly Professor Paul of Rochester Technical, is still getting used to not being a professor anymore, even though he's still teaching and still occasionally wandering the halls of Rochester Technical. After finally deciding to take his mentor's offer of another tutoring client, he meets Angela Busch, a brusque, take-charge businesswoman who needs some help softening the sharp edges on a speech to the Rochester Chamber of Commerce.

His relationship with Marlee, the beautiful Latina bartender at The Edgemoor, is ticking along just fine, but the stress of multiple relationships is starting to take their toll on him. He's trying to hit the brakes on his libido, but the world, and in particular, a beautiful young college student named Charlotte, gets in the way once more.

Jackson's learning that life can include more than one partner, and that his growth with one can reap benefits for the others. He's just got to get over the mental conditioning he's lived with his entire life.
