Slow to start but WOW!

This story truly takes a while to get going but it is necessary to set the stage. Keep at it and you will not regret it. Great story and left me wanting more. Goldilocks was annoying but by the end she was my favorite character, even more so than the wolf. The way her character changes throughout is wonderful and her annoying personality became more understandable. The complimenting strengths of the supporting characters, Scarlet and Gretal, made for a very interesting trio and I can honestly say that the story was all more believable because they were there. Can’t wait for the sequel.

Epic Fairytale!

I enjoyed story way more than I expected. It was Spicey, Brutal, and satisfying to listen to. I loved it

An enjoyable diversion

This is a book for individuals of class and distinction who enjoy multifaceted characters and deep lore. where's the side characters are concerned You definitely won't find the innocent, yet obsessed psychopathic type nor would you find the dedicated and disciplined type nor the tainted scholarly type. where the main characters concerned you'll find a mature Well grounded cryptid that definitely doesn't personify tall dark and cherylish. Always love stories that take from existing short stories to turn them into a fully flushed out world.

Far beyond what I expected

This starts out with very old-school Brothers Grimm-style variants of a few fairy tales (Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, Goldilocks). These serve as the foundation for a unique dovetailing of various other stories (particularly Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel) and the Big Bad Wolf serving as an almost involuntary anti-hero. It starts a bit slow, but it's worth sticking with it; it gets more and more compelling the further your get into the story.

Raya Kane is the primary narrator and did an excellent job. John Waters is a bit hit or miss in my experience, but here he is also excellent.

Give me more!

What a great twist on traditional fairy tales. The voice actors were amazing. I can't wait until the next one comes out!
