the story depth

For the kind of 📖 this is the depth of the 🌎 and backstory are surprisingly good its refreshing for this genre of story

great story and great voice acting

Great story, a huge step forward from book 2. I am highly anticipating the next books on audible.

3rd installment in a great series

really like this series from one of my favorite authors. slight issues with with believing a snow storm would undo an army they could have just left after finding out it was a magical storm for just an area. That said i really like the characters and their developments as well as the world building. With the introduction of dragons as well as ice giants it gives it a games of thrones like feel which in my opinion is a great thing.

Makes no sense

There is nothing in this installment of the series that helps the story along. Spoilers in the next segment.

The story is in a spiral when you reveal the “assassination plot”. The snow being an issue for an army is a laughable issue when you have already proven they can clear it. Why not just march the army through a segmented clearing? It’s hard to listen to a fantasy world when humans in the past have done more. At least the last two books made some sense. Lazy writing and an uninspired author.
