Lily has accomplished her goal of being accepted into Regarth, the country's premier magical institute... but now what?
Time to learn more magic, of course!
While the teachers at Regarth cannot compare to Arakil, the god of magic himself, there's still plenty to learn and experience. From potions and enchanting to combat, Lily is motivated to gain knowledge and catch up to her sister, Rose.
But Lily isn't the only one eager to learn. She makes friends with humans and demihumans alike on her journey through this world of magic.

The best thing I can think of calling this series is a slice-of-life story filled with magical moments and adorable situations. I really enjoy how the main character is slowly and steadily building her knowledge little by little instead of it all being rushed through. Every little detail on how the magic works and how society functions around it is fascinating to listen to! The interaction between the main character and the many new faces she meets in this book is absolutely delightful to listen to.
I very much enjoy the narrator's performance throughout the book, though there are a couple times where it seems somewhat flat, though it was never enough to ruin my immersion or throw me off, personally.
All in all a wonderful continuation to our adorable bunny's story! I'm very much looking forward to the next bool to come out!
Wonderfully funny and adorable!!

Overall it's just as good as the first book, so no complaints there. Narration is fantastic, and the story is extremely solid. It's just, both long enough and too short.
How do I explain this. It's long enough in that I'm perfectly happy with the length of the book in terms of value. For one credit, it's great, especially with the quality presented by this particular author. There's also a decent amount of things happening in the book with a lot of the characters, so it's not like it feels like nothing is happening ever. BUT, I feel like just about an hour more would have made the book feel more, complete, I guess? At least between some of the final events and the cliffhanger, however minor, at the very end of the book. A little bit more time to explore the consequences, for lack of a better word, of those events near the end, would have made all the difference.
Also, I should mention that the main reason I'm complaining about this at all is that I started listening the day the book comes out and now have to wait for the next book for that information. If you find this some time in the far distant future, maybe in a galaxy far away, when the series has many more books, it's not something I feel will take away from the overall experience, but RIGHT NOW specifically, I think it does make a slight difference in overall listening satisfaction.
Weird to say, but it should have been longer

by the way does anyone else imagine the stars as pure-white versions of the Kirby stars? if you see this and put a review I'd love to know lol
also to the person who was disappointed by there being a "school arc", did you even read the description???
Good. spoilers perhaps but not *really* in the sense of it not being some moment of excitement
