Hidden beneath Vatican walls, children learn to channel demons. But who is really in control?
When rumors surface of a secret orphanage training children with supernatural abilities, Hunter Arthur Vangeest sees his chance for revenge against Bishop Leopold Glasser—the man who helped destroy his family.
Arthur recruits reluctant priest Niccolo Paladina for an investigation that starts with shocking brutality: he has kidnapped one of Glasser's victims to prove the bishop's corruption. What they uncover is worse than either imagined.
These are not ordinary children. They are weapons being forged in holy fire.
The Vatican Children are conditioned in underground bunkers, their minds broken and rebuilt to contain demonic forces. Names carved into walls tell stories of stolen childhoods. But Glasser remains a ghost, his influence felt through mercenaries, collaborators, and a mysterious female partner known only as the Collector.
As the investigation spirals into a deadly trap beneath an Arizona desert facility, Arthur and Niccolo become prey in the very tunnels where children were tortured. With their phones dying and armed guards closing in, they must confront an awful truth:
Sometimes stopping evil requires becoming what you hunt.
A pulse-pounding supernatural thriller about faith weaponized, innocence sacrificed, and the moral cost of justice. Perfect for fans of Jim Butcher and supernatural conspiracy thrillers.

This is book #2 in the series. It deals with the corrupt Bishop from book 1. They are tracking the gifted children he has kidnapped. The children have some sort of supernatural ability, and he was trying to benefit from them.
