So incredible!

I am floored!! I enjoyed this read thoroughly. The aspect of revenge was so sweet and I could feel the animosity and tension like it was in the room with me. And oh these men! The 4 step brothers had me drooling. They all have their own unique things about them that make them so incredibly irresistible. I’m a sucker for Kailin (don’t come at me for spelling lol) and Onyx. They have my damn soul. Now this also ended on a very delicious cliffhanger that I can’t wait to see how it unfolds. It’s gonna be a tasty little morsel. The narrators on the audiobook also nailed this one! Every single emotion and all the spice was so real and genuine. 5 stars from me!

Valerie Starre plays the perfect snarky FMC Amelie Rossi while the full male cast will have you rubbing your thighs together and wishing you were Amelie. This dark academy romance takes you on a path of twists and turns and asking yourself who really betrayed who?

I read this book a couple years ago and was my first introduction to these authors. I was given a chance to receive a copy of the ALC and I jumped at it because I absolutely loved this book.
The narrators seriously brought this book to life if a whole new way for me. They made you feel like you were right there in the book with the characters and gave the listener a more in-depth look at the characters. Kalen was my favorite character when I first read this book but the audio version I'm seriously leaning more towards the twins Slate and Onyx as the narrators really brought out their characters more. I will definitely be re-reading this whole series again because there is just something about the narrators voices that make it so much better 😁

Book 2 can’t come quick enough

If you love taboo romance, multiple love interests, tension that keeps escalating, and enough drama to have you questioning everyone’s decisions, this one might be for you.

The duet multicast narration brings the story to life and gives it a cinematic feel, especially if you enjoy immersive audiobooks with distinct voices for each character.

Expect messy relationships, plenty of “what the hell is happening?” moments, high tension, and a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book two immediately. 🔥📚🥵

Hooked Instantly

Did this as an immersive read and could not stop. The duet multicast cast absolutely nailed it. Valerie Starre, Alex Bates, Elliot Matthews, James Joseph, and Benjamin Crow brought so much personality to these characters, and the accents made everything feel even more authentic. The story itself is packed with taboo tropes, chaos, tension, and plenty of WTF moments. That cliffhanger has me ready to start book 2 immediately.
