The AI Revolution

Mark Mathers was a student who just couldn’t seem to learn anything no matter how hard he tried. He had been subjected to every test devised to check for things like dyslexia, autism and Asperger’s without result. After changing from public to Christian school, Mark suffers an attack which reveals the presence of a brain tumor. After a successful surgery to remove the tumor, Mark has a clear head and is able to learn for the first time in his life. He graduates high school with honors and fulfills his dream to become a Marine Corps scout/sniper. A successful military career on a special operations team leaves Mark with the mental anguish that goes along with squeezing the trigger on many different targets. He is approached by a black agency within the United States Government that requests his services to eliminate several targets on US soil. Mark negotiates a healthy payment for his services and a way out of the service early if he successfully accomplishes the mission. The mission is a success leaving Mark in his mid-twenties with plenty of money and no direction in life. He locates a plot of land in remote Missouri where he constructs an off-grid homestead to live in peace and quiet while he starts a career as an author. His only neighbors become newfound friends who introduce him to a nurse named Sasha. Sasha and Mark become inseparable as they work to become fully prepared for the bad times that each think are upon them. Now facing the future together as husband and wife, Mark and Sasha prepare for the dark side of the AI revolution that is taking the world by storm. That dark side of AI does indeed come to pass as the couple endeavors to survive.
