Insane!!

The characters in this series are delusional, naive and weak. In the end she accused her husband of being too controlling, when in reality she let someone else dictate how she was going to live her life. The entire time I was listening all I kept thinking was these people are insane. It was not easy to finish, but I had to listen to find out how it ended. I was hoping she would hold people accountable and stick up for herself.

It really would make a great movie

I keep saying out load, "Don't let him touch you! What are you doing? Say no!" I can only listen to pieces at a time because she is starting to annoy me. It really would make a great movie and I think the narrator is excellent. But Olivia has no spine and simply won't stand her ground. It is very involved and written well. Will be interested in listening to something else from this writer.

The definition of delusion

Every character in this book annoyed me but I couldn’t stop listening so it’s definitely engaging. It reminds me of a season of a telenovela or Revenge. And as soon as you think OMG how dare you-fetched is that….the next appalling thing happens. The narrator sounded like they were in a tunnel most of the time and the voice of older men was interesting…old money I guess lol I definitely did not expect the ending but then again I expected the unexpected because everyone is clearly not completely sane.

Annoying

The narrator's "whining" and "fearful" voices throughout the entire series (last book especially), were so annoying, I just jumped to the end to see how it turned out, and it ended horribly. Poor Daniel.
