Pros: -Jason Clarke's "pillow" talk. Jeezus. I mean...damm! So...the book. Yeah. -The book was good. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm enjoying the "gift" and cloak & dagger aspect more than the spice in this one. I also need to mention just how 🥵 Jason Clarke's 🌶️ scenes are. That man knows how to talk. I realize he was reading, but, sheesh, can he read.
Did I mention Jason Clarke?
Cons: -Amy Hall did something different in this book. Like she was trying to put a little more into her acting. It didn't work for me, but that's just my opinion. -At times, the storyline gets a little predictable in this second book.
Overall: Good entertainment sitting in my car at the local park while I was kicked out of my house for prospective buyers to rummage through. I recommend.

Great narrators, they brought the characters to life. I could not stop listening, can’t wait till next book is added.

The Plot!

This series is amazing so far! The plot, the character development, the twists and turns…. and of course the plot thickens at the end! I’m running to book 3!
