Writer did not do basic research on EMP

This is the first EMP book I’ve read where the writer has clearly not done basic research on what an EMP would do. 1) Electronics that are fried do not all start and then putter out after the EMP, 2) Battery operated things are not going to work “until the batteries run out unless they were kept in some sort of faraday box…these are some pretty big mistakes that repeat over and over in the book.

If the entire premise of the book is some type of event - the writer needs to do their research on that topic before writing.
