The first edition published by projectGIGANTIC was previously titled, Sons of God by Christine Mercie, however, the cover of this second edition includes "and commentary" in the subtitle. The book was first published in 1954 without a 2026 commentary by Reborn R.S. Whitefield. SONS OF GOD was written by Christine Mercie, and was co-authored with Annalee Skarin. It is written as a true story of how Christine Mercie was translated because of her dedication to never again complain, but instead to lift her heart in praise to the Lord even in the midst of pain, suffering and unbearable burdens. Before she was translated, Christine was given the book, YE ARE GODS, by Annalee Skarin. Reading that book seemed to be a catalyst to Christine's comprehension of the amazing journey she had already been traveling.

After Christine was translated and taken up in to heaven to commune with the General Assembly of the Church of the Firstborn she was shown many things including the "Day of Judgment". Chapter's 1 through 7 tell of Christine's testimony. Chapter's 8 through 17 expound on some of the things Christine came back to teach others. The reading of this little book is enlightening, inspiring, and is also a wonderful forerunner to the book "Ye Are Gods" by Annalee Skarin. Therefore, dear reader, attend and discern the hidden fire beneath these words of Christine Mercie. For what appears as chance or scattered fragments in one’s life is no accident, but the unfolding of divines attribute written in the Living Light. Christine was cast down into the depths—the place of decay, sorrow, and desolation—where the soul is tested in its nakedness. Yet instead of yielding to the bitterness that corrodes the spirit, she awakened within herself a sacred hymn of gratitude, not born of ease, but forged in affliction.

Know then the deeper mystery: this was no singular wonder granted by whim, but the revelation of a holy law: He who is thankful in all things will be made glorious! Therefore, let it be understood: the path Christine Mercie (and the Skarins) walked is not closed to the rest of humanity. It lies before all souls. Yet few will enter, for it requires the surrender of illusion and the courage to be remade. Blessed are those who dare, for they shall behold that the world they trusted was but a shadow, and the true reality is the living Light of God’s Love in which all things are made new.
