Amazing book and audio!!!

Audio review:

I am so obsessed with this book!!! The audio was fan-freaking-tastic. This was the first time I have listened to Walker Williams and Sarah Reny narrate an audiobook, and I was pulled in by the first chapter. The way they brought the book to life was perfection. I loved listening to both of them bring such emotion to the characters; it broke my heart for Cora and Adrian all over again. Sarah brought the crazy out in Cora, and I loved it. It was like she could flip a switch from being the loving mother to the don't f with me. Walker did an amazing job with Adrian and his aloofness and then the desperation to get back what he lost. Both narrators were amazing, bringing such an amazing book to life, I have gone back and listened a few times.

How the cheating fixed the marriage in the end.

This was a really well written book about two broken people who had experienced terrible trauma growing up. Their trauma drove their life choices, but in the end they start to deal with it, and their marriage becomes stronger because of it. Great characters, great story, that I enjoyed reading.

I love this book and took the chance on the audiobook to listen to at work and it’s so well done

Deep

Not my usual trope. It took me a very long time to warm up to the MMC, not that he made it easy.
The antagonist gets what’s coming to them, though I wish it would’ve been on page instead of in retrospect.
Overall, a very good read.

I Love This Book!!!

I love the cheating with redemption trope. I think I have listened to every book audible has on the subject. This book is by far one of my favorites! I’ve been looking for one that has all the angst, drama, and spice. This story checked every box for me, and I can’t thank the author enough for writing it. I really hope she writes more with the trope! The narration was beyond amazing. The female narrator is new to me, and I absolutely love her! I hope she narrates lots of books to come! This book is one I will listen to again and again!
