Wednesday is my new fave day!

This book was wild! One thing I love about the way Kitty King writes, is that she comes out the gate swinging. From the first chapter, it is going down and it pretty much never slows down. So much spice, with such a great storyline. I love this world so much. The men are unhinged and the women are perfect fits for the men. Aiden is my favorite. He has such a filthy mouth. But this story, the friends to lovers, then to enemies then back to lovers. So hot. The trauma bond they have is so deep but Aiden was so hurt that he decided the best way to get revenge? Make her his and break her. But she was so ready and loved every second of it. Again, perfect fit. I loved them so much. I listened to the audiobook which was narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Savannah Thomas. Boy oh boy it was absolute perfection!! I couldn’t imagine anyone else embodying Aiden and Ashlyn. It was exquisite and I highly recommend!

Emotions

Man oh man this story was a solid p*nch of emotions that had me feeling all over the place and more! And yet I wouldn’t change a single thing about it! Aiden and Ashlyn definitely give one another a run for each other’s money. The way these two battle to be on top is equal parts strategic and d*abolical! This story kept me on my toes from start to finish! Loved it! Narration by Savannah Thomas and Aaron Sherlock was simply fantastic! These two nailed their characters to the T and the banter flow was perfection!

Instant Obsession!!

Kitty King’s books/ audios are always the best but this one is one of the best!!

The way all the feminism in my body left at the beginning of this book! Aiden Cardell is the perfect dark romance boyfriend! This book is so hot so spicy but had me gripping my heart at the same time! They are so toxic yet so perfect for each other! They are each other’s mirror! I loved Ashlyn as an FMC! So is soo bratty but Aiden loves taming a brat and that he does! I didn’t want this audio to end but alas it did! And the end was perfect! I can’t wait for the next one!

I read this book and honestly LOVED IT so much more as an audio! The narrators brought this book to life the way I didn’t think that it could be!

Aiden Cardell didn't disappoint!

I love a good enemies to lovers trope. This one has that in spades. When I listened to Terror Tuesday, I couldn't wait for Aiden Cardell. I know he would be unhinged. Aaron Shedlock made his voice perfect! Now, what I didn’t expect was Ashlyn being just as sassy and unhinged. Savannah Thomas brought the snark and sass out of her character. Their chemistry was amazing! Aaron had me blushing and swooning. Ashlyn had me wishing I had her confidence! As toxic as they were, it seemed to bring out real and raw emotions. The psychological part of it all had me continuing to listen to it. This one definitely has my heart and I will think about it for awhile! Do yourself a favor and pick this up!

Dark and Unhinged

My first Kitty King book… and it will definitely NOT be my last.

I jumped into this series with book three and had no problem following the story, but now I absolutely need to go back and read the first two books. I need all the lore of the gods and the secret society, all the previous drama, and all the character backstories before book four arrives!

This book was deliciously dark. The kind of story where you’re constantly questioning everyone’s motives while simultaneously rooting for the morally grey characters.

Ashlyn and Aiden are messy, obsessive, toxic, and completely consumed by each other. The line between love and hate is basically nonexistent, and hearing them push each other’s buttons was endlessly entertaining.

The relationship is darkly romantic in that way where they seem destined to either destroy each other or burn down the world together. Thankfully, they lean toward the latter.

Beyond the romance, I was genuinely invested in the mystery woven throughout the story. There was always something lurking beneath the surface, making it impossible to stop listening.

🎧 Narration:
Savannah Thomas absolutely blew me away. Most of the books I’ve listened to with her feature sweeter FMCs, so hearing her embrace Ashlyn’s darker edge was fantastic. The woman has RANGE.

And Aaron Shedlock was Perfection.
I loved how he captured the contrast between Aiden’s detached exterior and the absolute emotional chaos happening inside his head. The denial. The pining. The inability to admit that what he thought was hate had become something entirely different. It was so well done.

Overall, this was dark, obsessive, addictive, and completely unhinged in the best possible way.
