Entertaining short paranormal mystery

I listened to Twice in a Blue Moon this morning and loved it. I’ve read or/and listed to eight Jess Lourey books prior to Twice in a Blue moon, so I thought I was familiar with her stories. All eight of the previous books I’d read were thrillers, and this one surprised me to some extent. The cover told me I was in for a short cozy style story. While I don’t read or listen to a lot of cozy mysteries, I have to say I’m very interested in exploring more of Jess’s cozy offerings. Especially with this cast of characters.

She has a talent for developing characters you can connect with. Not to mention her story arcs are always tight and engaging. I got so hooked on listening to this story I didn’t think of stopping for any reason. Of course, along with an engaging short story, Kira Fixx does an excellent job of narrating the audiobook. She brought every character to life through individual voices and attitudes.
