Loved every second of this story. The narrators were amazing and gave the characters so much depth. Definitely one of my top audiobooks for 2026.

Story was amazing ! Didn’t expect some things but it all came to a happy ending

Good Context, A Bit of a Slow Burn

Not sure if I needed to increase the speed or my brain cells but the story became a bit of a slow burn. Enjoyed the context of the councilman and preacher having dirty dealings.

Just ok

It started off promising but by the end I couldn't say I enjoyed this book. I didn't really like Phillip Preston's narration. His voice is beautiful but the narration was off. So that threw the whole story off.
