Moving Boxes
Larry Pendleton and his recently married wife Mallory have moved into a new home. And now Larry is finishing up with sorting through boxes of belongings from his past role as a public school administrator. There was something else going on however: there has been tension between Mallory and her daughter Leslie over Mallory’s tendency to offer too much Unrequested advice in terms of child raising. And that is causing tension between Larry and Mallory as well. But as the final box is opened and sorted through, Mallory comes across an instrument of correction that her husband made use of to alter behavior. And now both are wondering if it may be of benefit to Mallory and her relationship with her daughter.
It Was Right There In This Book
Sarah and Jim Hendricks we’re heading for a weekend getaway at a family cottage by a lake as they had done several times before. But for Jim, more than the fly-fishing opportunity was his delight and how Sarah would read a steamy romance novel, then read to him the spiciest most arousing portions. Then they would act them out! But this time Sarah came across something she was reluctant and embarrassed to read to Jim come as much as she craved experiencing it herself. After all, when Sarah found herself so excited by a spanking scene in the hot novel, what choice was there for her?
THE MUTUAL AGREEMENT
Mike and Amy Reynolds were having a frustrating week: three times in the span of several days Amy had, through distraction or carelessness, engaged in actions that cost them significant money. It was time for them to have a long talk. And during that talk Mike talked to Amy about how in her younger days she was more careful, and she went on to confess that it was the fear of a parent-wielded hairbrush that kept her in line. They both agreed that there was a pattern in regard to Amy and consequences. But could they finally agree to accept the reality that Amy needed some special consequences to change her behavior?
After The Party
Brian Hartline had a career as an attorney. He also had a special pastime that of serving as the director of a local theater presenting plays and musicals. He also had a rather intriguing girlfriend by the name of Arlene Cosgrove. She was one warm and loving and fun to be with. She also had a deep grudge to be held against the female lead of the latest program Brian was directing. She promised Brian she would stay away from her nemesis at the after party following the final performance, an event being held at Brian’s home. She did avoid the other woman. But with too much champagne in her system, she did go around talking to people and badmouthing the star actress and singer. Brian wanted to marry Arlene and he told her so. But when she had slept off the champagne and woke to see Brian standing next to the bed holding an ominous-looking clothes brush, she knew that something had to change before the marriage could take place.
