Great new series

Jameson Force Security opens a new branch in Seattle. Tessa Ward is an investigative journalist who is meeting a whistleblower about deliberate fires being set to buy real estate cheaply after deliberate fires are set. He manages to give her a flash drive before being killed. Now she's a witness to murder. The only person she can think to keep her safe is her ex, Cole Mercer. He is now working for Jameson Force. He tells her that he will keep her safe but she has to stay at the security company. After a break in, she agrees. Tessa doing dangerous reporting is what broke them up before. Will Cole be able to keep her safe? Will they be able to get past her dangerous reporting? This is a wonderful story. The narration is great. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Pretty Boring

No excitement and annoying characters. Not the best from Sawyer Bennett. Not sure if I’ll attempt another story in this series.
