Publisher's summary
Lara: Everybody knows that Prince Henry of Corso is the sexiest prince of the century. His bad boy image is hard to ignore, what - with the tattoos, the dirty mouth, and the revolving door of women, each of them hoping he'll choose her as his one and only. I couldn't care less about the prince and his cocky antics. I'm visiting his island to find peace after a tragic accident ripped my life apart. But then the sex-on-a-stick prince saves my life like some kind of superhero in a black leather jacket and shocks me with the most indecent proposal of my life. After knowing me all of a few hours, Prince Henry wants me to marry him...and have his baby!
Henry: I like my women easy, my sex rough, and most importantly, I play to win. When my father devises a test to choose which of his sons will inherit his throne, I'll take that bet and beat him at his own game. Out of nowhere, Lara Morgan comes zooming into my life, beautiful and broken and full of fire. With the perfect girl on my arm - and in my bed - that throne is mine.
But if I'm not careful, Lara Morgan will be, too. Our arrangement is supposed to be a marriage of convenience. There's nothing convenient about falling in love.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Story
After watching my mother succumb to a mysterious illness, I promised myself two things. I'd find the cure for what ravaged her and leave the godforsaken city where she abandoned me. Four years later, I received an acceptance letter from Dracadia University, one of the oldest most prestigious schools in the country. Nestled on a secluded island off the coast of Maine, it's rumored to be haunted by the souls of the mental patients exiled there centuries before, those whose bones are said to make up the island's white sandy shores. And restless ghosts aren't even its most daunting peculiarity.

Meh
Story was sub par and not even Joe Arden narration could redeem it and I'm a huge Joe Arden fan. Female narrator was horrible

Bad, Bad Prince
I listened to this book because of a romance challenge and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. What a great listen! Although I was able to figure out the mystery halfway tithe book, I really enjoyed seeing how it all played out in the end. Watching a business deal turn into love was great as well. These two are perfect for each other.

MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE
I can't even say how many times I have read and listened to this book. It's good to read but absolutely FANTASTIC to listen to where you can get the accent of the Prince. I swoon every time I hear it and as I'm a crazy cat lady I can even imagine my beautiful Desiree a delicate tiny seal point Siamese as Lara and Thomas, a 22 pound black and white mixed breed as Prince Henry. As far as contemporary love stories this is hands down my favorite. Anybody who enjoys a good love story with a good SEXY vibe should enjoy this one.

A Decent Listen
First, I far preferred Joe Arden's portion of this audiobook. Holly wasn't bad, but sometimes the way she said things made something a little cheesy turn into SUPER cheesy.
This book is definitely one of those "Everything happens very quickly" kind of books. Which... the audiobook is just under 5 hours, so no surprise there. The things that would have made this book better would have also made it much longer. It still came across as well-written. I was in the mood for a girl-meets-prince trope and this book filled the need. If that's your thing, I'd recommend giving it a try.

WT....
Story is deplorable.
It was okay in the beginning but by chapter 4 it went straight into the trash. I love Joe Arden’s voice but Holly Adams makes the whole thing a joke.

Female narrator ruins it
Female narrator uses a very breathy voice and emphasizes words where no emphasis is needed. Makes it very hard to listen when she is talking. Male narrator is perfect.

Couldn’t listen
Couldn’t listen to the whole thing. The female narrator’s voice is to annoying it sounds like she has a cold. It might be a good story but just couldn’t.
