Vicious criminals, Eugene Dempsey and Chester Craven, escape Wyoming Territorial Prison armed with nothing but striped prisoner pajamas and a Lakota’s hand-drawn map that, according to legend, will lead them to the unfathomable riches in a secret tunnel burrowed into the base of Devil’s Tower. Seeking their golden fortune, the fugitives head north, leaving their dusty trail stained in the blood of innocents.

With two determined buffalo soldiers nipping their heels, the sadistic escapees will soon realize all the gold in the land isn’t worth what lies in wait for them in the claustrophobic underground beneath.

Fantastic Fantasy Horror

This was a short and fantastic listen. Great narration, very fitting tone.
The story was the real highlight. Had a great sense of time and location and really puts you into a western feel but unlike anything Ive read or listened to. The 2nd half had a building pit of dread that grew all the way until the awesome ending (it really delivers the goods for any action/horror fan)
Will relisten to frequently due to a great story and an easily accomplished length.

nerve racking

What an anxiety inducing story!!!! Loved every bit of it. The creatures were creepy and this furthers me NOT wanting to go cave exploring anytime soon.
