Speak and understand simple Arabic words and phrases with this Moroccan Arabic Course for complete beginners. This five session course will enable you to reach A1 (beginner) level on the CEFR scale. This course offers a useful introduction to the Arabic dialect of Morocco. Over five sessions, you will learn essential communication in Morocco, making this course ideal for travelers, expats or other visitors to the country. The focus is on teaching the Moroccan Arabic for those with no prior experience, as distinct from teaching the nuances of Moroccan Arabic to those who already have a broad understanding of Arabic.
Moroccan Arabic, known locally as Darija embodies Morocco's unique blend of cultures. Unlike Modern Standard Arabic, Darija has been influenced by Amazigh (Berber) languages as well as French, and Spanish. These diverse influences make it a particularly interesting language to learn. This course focuses on practical usage of Moroccan Arabic. It gives you the tools to navigate common daily interactions, for example scenarios such as greetings, directions, sharing personal information, asking basic questions, ordering food and dealing with emergencies.
The five sessions are structured to help you quickly assimilate useful phrases and vocabulary that you can easily start using. Throughout every session there are multiple comprehension, speaking and conversational exercises to help you practice, learn and build confidence.
