S.U.M.O. stands for Shut Up, Move On. It's a phrase to say to ourselves (and sometimes others) when we are acting or thinking in a way that is hindering our ability to succeed. It doesn't necessarily mean "get over it" or "pull yourself together" (although there may be occasions when both responses are necessary): "Shut Up" means stop what you're doing, take time out to reflect, let go of baggage and beliefs that hinder your potential; "Move On" means tomorrow can be different from today, look for new possibilities, don't just think about it, take action.

Get Ready to Become a Shark
This genuine book was written/read with the familiarity of being with a friend who truly wants nothing but the best for you, sprinkled with humor, and reminders to stay grounded and with just the right amount of inspiration and advice to make it actionable and within reach. Great addition to what, at times, can be an overwhelming and lonely world that we are all trying to navigate together.

Helpful to hear the advice...
I follow him on socials and decided to check this out. Inspiring read and A+ advice. It's nice to read a self-help book where they employ a Covey Habit of to learn something deeply you have to teach it to someone else. It reads very much like he is kindly passing along what has worked for him and like a Friend is rallying for you. I found this paired with what I listened to prior "Meditation for fidgety sceptics" puts you in the right headspace to get unstuck. and then listen to Deepak Choprah's 21 day meditation how to get unstuck. I did it in the opposite order. Feels good to FEEL GOOD about continuing to walk the path of life with these types of guides. also Daily it's nice to see tiny's buddah's posts... and then watch niall's tik toks haha! Be a Shark.

Raw and inspiring
I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. It’s the first time I’ve heard a narrator read a book “raw” and I gotta say, I wish they would do to a lot more. The content is inspiring and so true. I admit, I’m a much bigger fan of, Niall MacMillan, now because of this. Downside of this book… I won’t literally be a shark 🦈 Great listen. Don’t think. Just give it a listen. Worth it.

Very uplifting book!
I discovered Niall on TikTok! He is one of my favorite creators! This book was very uplifting and motivational! He is very down to earth and honest! His humor is great and it helps escape everyday life for awhile!
