Most historians agree that John Mark is the author of this account of the good news and it may have been one of the first Gospels written. What also distinguishes this book among the other Gospels is the emphasis of the suffering of Yeshua. This could have been due to the fact that during the time in history around 65 AD, Christians in Rome were experiencing great persecution. In the church today, we have everything buttoned up perfectly. The music is flawless, the sermon well-prepared and smoothly delivered, and the grounds meticulously kept. People come on time and go home on time. But a fundamental element is missing. The business of church has undermined the individual's need to truly live for Christ, so much so, that only a limited few are seeing their life impact the world.

An Underrated Listen
Stumbled upon this audiobook and was very glad I did. I didn't think they had audiobooks authored by classical Muslim scholars. Quick listen with great narrations and stories. Highly recommend and believe it will change the way we see our parents.
