About this listen

In Beyond the Pale Horse: The Strange Case of Milton William Cooper, legendary conspiracy publisher Gray Barker continues his Strange Case series by looking at one of the most controversial conspiracy theorists of all time: William Cooper.

Cooper was killed in a shootout with federal agents in 2001, thus enshrining him forever into whatever "Hall of Fame" exists for conspiracy theorists. Cooper's book Behold a Pale Horse remains a top-selling conspiracy and UFO book almost 20 years after it was originally published.

In this book, Barker, who knew Cooper before he died, analyzes some of the material sent to him by Cooper in the 1980s, offering his insight into the man and the legend.

Take it with a grain of salt

It is an interesting listen, and some things make sense, while other things don't. Give it a listen and go from there.

Over all good book, narration not too bad.

Over all good book, narration not too bad. Could use some improvements in monotonous reading.

a bit confusing .

The book talks about US government cover-up over alien life then transitions to we never went to the moon and can't do space travel

I’m astounded how down the rabbit hole people will go.

Worth the listen not because of any factual basis, rather to understand how far “reasonable” people will exhibit cognitive bias and become borderline of not completely dangerous because of these conspiracy theories…..

If you've read Cooper's books, don't bother.

I have read Behold A Pale Horse and was hoping for deeper dive in who Cooper was as an individual (as the subtitle would indicate). Sadly, I didn't get that. Most of this book is a verbatim reproduction of Cooper's book with this author's commentary tacked on,

And alas, I bought this book with cash and not Audible credits, So I can't even get a refund!
