Great book
I love the book other than the childhood part of the first one. The father should have taken the daughter with him and to leave on Christmas. I can’t believe what a selfish heifer the mother was. She only did two things good for her daughter. When Gunner was taken prisoner and broke up with her on Christmas Eve. Then the next emotional abuse from the husband.
