Ishmael Heald was one of those men, who despite wanting to do right by others, never seemed to be able to. He fought with the force of three ferocious men and consumed enough alcohol to kill a normal human, all while existing in a life that seemed more fiction than an actual reality.

The loss of so much throughout his time and a constant battle from within that felt like the devil eating him away, filled his story with lessons that would last well beyond his death for this steel worker.

This is his story. He would have never expected to be remembered over a hundred years later for the life he struggled through, but he left a mark on this earth that cannot be, and should not be forgotten.
