Good listen

The AI leaves a bit to be desired but overall it was worth the listen!

Horrific Narration

I think I would have enjoyed the story if I was able to hear any more from the AI narration. Terrible, irritating, and hard to follow.

no life

I usually push thru books, even if I don't like them, but I only made it a few chapters until I gave up. The story seemed like it was going to be good but the virtual reading was terrible. It had no life, no inflections.

Virtual voice sucks

You get what you pay for and it was free. Story line was okay. VV distracted from it though.

Very predictable

Too much detail on things that didn’t matter such as what was in their backpacks, especially when the items were never used or referenced again.
Josie is annoying!!! Switching between a helpless damsel in distress and then expertly killing and then back to weak damsel mode.
AI voice was annoying and did not match the character’s personalities. Many missed pronounced words.
Overall not worth the time.

Virtual voice ruined this book

75% of my free books are now virtual voice. Nothing sounds good with virtual voice.

Boredom

I gave it a hour and it went never picked up… do boring and the auto narrator made it even worse
