I like Harry Grimm
Very good book in this series. I like the characters and the stories. I was thinking Grimm would get together with Rebecca but I guess that wasn’t in the cards.

Well Done as usual
If you have not read the earlier books in this series, do not start here. The enjoyment is less about the mystery, and more about how the team works together to solve it. In order to enjoy the wonderful conclusion you really do need to know these people.

Interesting crime story
Good story, well developed plot. This book left me wanting more filler though. After 19 books in this series, those of us who have followed it know most of the characters quite well. It would be nice if the author took the time to bring more of the auxiliary characters into the storyline or at least gave us some more updates on how they're doing and what they're doing in their lives. I found the book a little thin on anyone other than Harry and a few other main characters. I would have appreciated reading a bit more about everyone else in the Dales. I know it would add length to the book but that's not such a bad thing. After investing all this time reading this series, it would be really enjoyable if the books were fleshed out a little bit more and the ending wasn't so hurried. I guess I just want more of the background story added around the main plotline. I look forward to the new books in the series and am quite invested in the characters that have been introduced so far. I just find the books a bit short in length and would appreciate a little bit more time with the characters Mr Gatward has created.

how terrible and hackneyed the 'plot' is
it was so stupid and frankly, gushy, that I could barely finish it. Absolutely the last I'll read of this increasingly idiotic series
