The main character is not only a bad ass she’s funny and likable. I’ve read all the books in this series and they’re all good. The narrator is the perfect person to express the stories because she seems to capture the essence of all the characters well.

Immediately hooked. Before I knew it, about 6 chapters had gone by, and I knew I'd have to get the whole Trilogy. after ensuring the narrator is indeed the same person for the next two books, they're in my collection.

Really enjoyable!
I think the best things about this book are the characters. The author has created some really endearing characters, whose penchant for witty banter makes for really fun listening! The story did feel a little spare, but perhaps some of that could be due to it being the first in a series. I do think there was enough meat there to hint at plenty of future sustenance, so I look forward to reading on! (My only worry, however, is based on the snippet of Book 2, included at the end of this one; so far, this snippet has yet to intrigue me, but I'm still hopeful!)

Shockingly pretty good
To be honest I figured I had a credit to waist and said why not, I’ll gamble a credit. It didn’t strike me immediately but after the first 15 minutes I was all in. I’m a truck driver so I can burn through most 12 hour books in a days ride. The story wasn’t the usual ah-ha thing. It flips at catches you way off guard. I was pleasantly impressed with this author’s style. I’m looking forward to listening to more!
