Great book, even better performance!

Loving Mary Connealy’s books because they are full of adventure and twists and turns. Loving this series! (I have 2 of the 3 listened to at this point). However, the true star is Barbara McCulloh. She is the best reader - everything I have listened to performed by her is better because she is the one reading it.

Prepare to get lost in a great story!

A combination of good writing and good narration made this book an easy listen. Imagine inheriting an enormous ranch because your father passed away. As an only child, you have to adjust to being in charge. Then you discover your father was a scoundrel, who secretly had two other families. Suddenly your ranch needs to be divided into three equal parts. There you have the beginning of Mary Connealy's wonderful story. From there it's romance and adventure full speed ahead!

Good book

I listen to a lot of books and I loved this one. It had some great twists in it

Compelling story

Once again Mary Connealy weaves a tale that draws you in with characters that are complex and plot lines that keep you engaged. Her humorous portrayal of common everyday life spiced things up, causing me to randomly laugh out loud while listening. Barbara McCullough is a very good narrator and the voices she does are believable and consistent with each character. I eagerly look forward to the next book in the series.

3 Brother and same dad but not mother’s makes an interesting story!

I love this story filled with killer, 3 brothers. First brother from Kansas arrived Kevin Hunt with his sister,Molly, and younger brother, Andy. They were shot at on the way to the successful Wyoming ranch where the second 1/2 brother Wyatt Hunt and 1/2 sister Cheyenne who was supposed to 1/2 share of the Rolling Hills Ranch. Kevin wonders if Wyatt is behind the attack. With everything that is going on about the attack into the fray steps Winona Hawkins, who is the local schoolmarm and wealthy rancher’s family. Finally the third 1/2 brother Falcon Hunt arrived on the train from Tennessee. It turned out that Clovis Hunt ( brother father)had divided the ranch in which they all owned the ranch and the could not sell the ranch without having to sell all of their shares. Cheyenne is mad as a hornet about losing her portion of the ranch so Win had been good friends both Wyatt and Cheyenne to town to meet the other brothers. The next day when they all went exploring the ranch was where the trouble really started. Win was shot across her shoulders and Kevin had to get back to the ranch house where Molly stitch her up. The next day the 3 brothers went back to search they were shot at again this time with Forest disappeared and since they could not find him took him for dead. This story is filled with intrigue, humor and suspense if you want to know more than you will have to read it too find out! I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for adventure, romance and fun!!!

Great Story

A couple unexpected twist and a sweet ending made this a great book. I can’t wait to listen to more of this author’s books.

Very good book. Keeps you changing your mind about who to trust. I enjoyed the narration. Good clean romance.
